Bush Medicine Leaves – Gloria Petyarre

This painting by Gloria represents the Bush Medicine Leaves which come from the kurrajong plant. These are traditionally used for medicine, to help relieve colds, flu, and to heal cuts and scratches. Sometimes a liquid is made up, and drunk to help with nausea, and upset tummies.

A very nice piece from Gloria, strong strokes in red and yellows.
