Women Going Hunting For Bush Bananas

Mona has painted a nice small piece showing women going hunting for bush bananas. The dotting shows her country, and the “U” shape signifies their campsite, where they are sitting down. The oval shapes are the coolamons, used for carrying foods, ( the larger ones used for carrying young babies.) the stick shape, is their digging stick, used to dig up roots, such as the desert yam. The plant is the desert bush banana.
