Ceremony

Pati is an Indigenous artist from Northern Queensland. She has painted this striking piece called “Ceremony”. It is painted in acrylics on canvas, and it shows a part of Central Australia, where a ceremony is taking place. A number of elders are painted up with special designs onto their bodies. Feathers and grasses are sometimes used in certain ceremonies.
