Bush Plum Dreaming – Bessie Pitjara Petyarre

Bessie has painted her “Bush Plum Dreaming” piece using acrylic paints onto a pre-primed canvas.

She tells the story of the life cycle of the Bush Plum Tree by using a range of colours – from dormancy to the new green leaves, the flowers, and then the fruits before it becomes dormant again.

This makes for an amazing piece of art from Bessie.
